About me

Graduated in Law, with full marks and honours, from Bologna in 1980. Having started his own law firm in Rimini in 1986, he devoted himself to corporate, commercial, and corporate criminal law.
In addition to these matters, he cultivated an authentic cultural and legal passion for the Law of Cultural Heritage, a choice that led him in the '90s to form a partnership with one of the few masters in that field: the lawyer Cleto Cucci. This was followed by the start of a series of criminal and civil proceedings to protect dealers and collectors of antiques in the Italian courts and abroad. Paying close attention to the most important trials of the time, and intervening professionally in them, has allowed him to acquire a diversified experience by virtue of which he began to devote himself permanently to the Law of Cultural Heritage.
In 2002, he founded a new law firm in Rimini, "P&P - Società professionale di avvocati", in which he was responsible for the criminal and civil proceedings of clients who were collectors or dealers of archaeology, numismatics, palaeontology, documents and books.
He developed a deep knowledge of the subject matter, which led him to consider the relationship between public and private, meaning the State and private collectors and traders, as necessary and profitable.
In recent years, with the assistance of Dr. Laura Fattori in the management of legal disputes relating to cultural heritage, he has been invited as a speaker to conventions and conferences on the subject matter.
He is the legal consultant of the professional association of Italian Numismatic Professionals (Numismatici Italiani Professionisti, N.I.P.).
